The property effortlessly embraces its natural surroundings, with blooming gardens and stunning views down the valley, particularly towards the majestic Turrialba volcano. Our mornings began with delightful breakfasts featuring fresh, local ingredients, setting a positive tone for the day. I particularly enjoyed the well-designed rooms, which came equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and a refreshing shower that offered ample hot water and pressure. The lodge's strategic location near the Saturday market provided an excellent opportunity to immerse ourselves in local culture. And when not exploring, we delighted in paragliding just a short distance away. While I experienced a few minor hiccups during my stay, particularly with the service at dinner, the overall atmosphere-complete with a welcoming staff who genuinely sought to enhance our experience-made for a memorable retreat. I would certainly consider returning for another chance to soak in the tranquil vibe and breathtaking views.
